Broken Symmetry is one of nine woodcut prints belonging to a series entitled Dark Matters. I wanted to depict that moment when everything you know about the current reality is shattered and an unfathomable new existence bursts forth from the void. The denizens of this world run from the debris of their peaceful dominion as chaos engulfs all within sight. Dark matter pours forth from a dimensional portal, obliterating unfortunate elementals caught in its path and scattering their particles into the aether.
