This image was inspired by a young woman, who served as the model for the central figure in this piece. The figure represents humankind as she is the source of life. Laying down she simulates mountains, and embodies mother nature herself. She is surrounded by guardians such as the seated, glasses wearing figure in the front that comes from the Huastec culture. In the background is an Aztec representation of a sun and a standing pre-Columbian female figure from the Chupicuaro culture in Western Mexico.
