When you are at the stage in life when you are deliberately making choices about choosing a life partner, you begin to understand the individual ways both genders shape society. The Phallic Form Series is a visual representation of my recent encounters with men via dating apps, at work, and in general. My recent observations about biological differences that are naturally present in both the sexes showed me that it is important to accept these distinctions to live a balanced life. The works are derivational, and an amalgamation of forms inspired by the genitals of both sexes, metaphorically placed in front of the viewer, and kept open for their own interpretations.
