I am interested in contemporary and historical power relationships. Currently, I am using dashcam footage, children’s books, photographs of city playgrounds, and video from amusement and skate parks as source materials for my prints. I long for policing in the United States to bring justice, not confound it or perpetrate criminality through its own forces. I think it is essential to bear witness by pointing to a complex problem and say we are getting it wrong. Art for me is testimony.
