For My Comfort is a representation of my acceptance of myself, the person whose opinion matters most about myself and my identity. I often depict mirrored figures in my work to represent self-reflection and the mixed emotions that come with it. I composite these figures with places that resonate with my subconscious and upbringing, inter-laying formline and chine-collé to represent the complex relationship between queerness and indigeneity.
