I fabricate and document an invented world to explore the tension between rationality and fantasy, and clarity and confusion. My work references mental spaces and each print exists as a document of discovery in this psychological universe. I am driven by the idea of cataloguing and organizing the intangible; the biomorphic creatures I create act as anchor points and, as the inhabitants of this surreal universe, they become my proxies to navigate these incorporeal forces. The geometry I use embodies structure, balance and stability. The appearance of logic in these devices is then contradicted with configurations that defy any rational reasoning.
